These are labeling cases
As you can see, the labels have a certain gap around the edges and are not not completely attached to the side or edge of the bottle. Because too close to the close to the edge is not stick, the label will be wrinkled
These are screen printing cases
As you can see, the edges of the silkscreen are somewhat blank and not completely attached on the side or edge of the bottle. Because it is not possible to print too close to the edge.
Measuring bottle printing size
When a customer asks us about the size of a particular bottle, part of the customer is trying to ask about the bottle size.
Another part of the customer actually wants to know what size to follow when doing label/silkscreen design documentation. But some customers don’t say it clearly or don’t know to ask in this way.
So you can take the initiative to provide the printing size + product size to the customer. Now the artists will do a new version of the size chart, which already contains the printing range.
Plastic bottle printing size chart
This can also be done, in any way you feel will make it customers understand more easily.
The range in the picture on the right is the area where the plastic bottles are printed
You can also take a picture of the measurement like this, which is a soft ruler.
But don’t just tell the customer the circumference and that’s it, because whether it’s labeling or silk-screening, the whole circumference is not printed completely.
We can say that the circumference is 230mm, and the width of the label is recommended to be within 220mm.
Then take a photo of the measurement of the printable height, the same, do not just throw the photo to the customer, to add a text description, otherwise the customer may not understand.
